IKEA Exeter are looking for a Warehouse Shift Coordinator to join our team. As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator where youll be the conductor of logistics, orchestrating the flow of products with precision. Join the adventure and become a part of our warehouse operations.

This is a full-time, permanent role working nights.
For this role, we are looking for a strong leader who is able to work amongst a large team and be able to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment that is ever changing.
WHAT WE OFFER
Start date of employment will be 5th of September 2026. Full Time: 39 hours a week, working 5 days per week including alternate weekends. This role has a starting salary of £30,000 per annum, final offer will be made based on skills and experience. Additional nightshift allowance equivalent to £2.25 per hour. Regular shift times will be between the hours of midnight and 10:00am.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
Previous experience coordinating a team in a warehouse environment is desirable, with the motivation to manage tasks confidently in a demanding environment. Ability to priorities and organise yours and others workloads swiftly and with attention to detail. Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency. Experience in planning and improving daily operations. You lead, motivate and problem solve through the IKEA Values - people trust you, and you lead by example in the day-to-day.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility in both store and external warehouse. This includes manual handling of heavy stock, unloading, loading and replenishment of goods/orders within the agreed time with the customer in focus. Working with or around heavy machinery, such as forklift trucks and counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to support overall fulfilment operations goals and achieve excellence in running operations. Supervise the daily operations and assign areas of responsibility for the team, identifying and acting on improvement potentials and ensuring that daily routines are followed.
