Salary: £38,220 - £46,142 per annum\n
Additional Benefits: £3,000 Retention Payment\n

\nService Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Bradford Council for experienced
Children in Care Social Workers to join the
Corporate Parenting Service.\n
\nBradford Children and Families Trust has recently restructured its Children in Care service, creating
10 dedicated Children in Care Teams that support children and young people from
birth through to 18 years of age. This innovative approach provides greater continuity, stronger relationships and improved outcomes for children throughout their care journey.\n

The Role\n
\nAs a Children in Care Social Worker, you will play a vital role in fulfilling the Local Authority's Corporate Parenting responsibilities by supporting children and young people in care to achieve the best possible outcomes.\n
\n
\nWorking alongside families, carers, schools, health professionals and partner agencies, you will ensure children receive high-quality care, stability and support while progressing towards permanence wherever possible.\n
\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Manage a caseload of children and young people in care.
\n - Develop and review high-quality care plans focused on achieving permanence.
\n - Complete statutory visits and assessments in line with legislation and guidance.
\n - Build strong, trusting relationships with children, carers and families.
\n - Work collaboratively with education, health and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes.
\n - Participate in care planning, permanency planning and pathway planning.
\n - Ensure every child receives the care, support and opportunities they need to thrive.
\n
Essential Requirements\n
\n - Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
\n - Registered with Social Work England
\n - Experience working within UK Children's Social Care
\n - Experience managing Children in Care / Looked After Children caseloads
\n - Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and care planning
\n - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n - Full UK Driving Licence preferred
\n
