Job description
We have an exciting and rare role available within our Aspris Central team, whereby we are looking to add an Estates Project Manager to our already very established Estates Team.

As an Estates Project Manager, you will be responsible for the managing and delivering a variety of estates projects across our extensive portfolio of services which include colleges, schools and children's homes . These projects will vary in scale and complexity, and excitingly, we are looking to include new build developments, as well as refurbishing and reconfiguring our existing services.

The role:
  • To deliver projects on time, to budget, and to appropriate quality. Manage them diligently and with enthusiasm.
  • Coordinate activities through all stages of the project, from initial development through to closure.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Central Services teams to turn a concept into a fit for purpose end result.
  • Oversee project scope, specification, and design activity.
  • Ensure the project specification is appropriate, sufficiently detailed and understood by all relevant stakeholders.
  • Arrange surveys as required and contribute to the project planning application process.
  • Oversee project tender and procurement processes.
  • Ensure project budgets are accurate, comprehensive and well managed.
  • Support Business Case development - ensure business cases are accurate and written to a high standard.
  • Manage the projects internal and external stakeholders to ensure unity of effort in delivery of the project.
  • Maintain project documentation using specified templates and processes.
  • Supervise the project change management process so that it is controlled and effective.
  • Manage risk and effectively mitigate it, escalating when appropriate.
  • Ensure a seamless handover of completed projects to the Operations Team.

What we need from you!
  • Prior knowledge of project management principles and methodology within the built environment would be an advantage.
  • Project Management-related qualification desirable.
  • Prior experience of working effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven self-starter who is able to accept responsibility, prioritise and operate well under pressure.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
