• People Coordinator - Middleton* *HR (People) Coordinator - Middleton, North Manchester - From 28,000 plus profit share and private medical insurance This is a full time, office based role *We're looking for a proactive and organised People Coordinator to provide timely, accurate and professional support across our People function.

You'll need to plan and prioritise effectively, maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality, and demonstrate our values in everything you do. * Act as a first point of contact for People Team queries, managing the inbox and telephone line professionally. * Support the smooth running of our HR system, including accurate data input and process improvements. * Coordinate onboarding activity, including contracts, new starter documentation and pre-employment paperwork. * Complete Right to Work checks in line with UK legislation and company requirements. * Support employee relations activity, including note taking, case administration and maintaining accurate records. * Maintain long-term absence data and highlight any areas of concern. * Keep People policies, procedures and templates up to date and legally compliant. * Support employee engagement activity, including surveys, action plans and internal communications. * Create and distribute the monthly company newsletter by gathering content from departments and sites. * Support payroll, reward and recognition activity, as well as wider People initiatives and projects. * Help maintain succession planning information and support agreed annual projects that drive growth, performance and efficiency. *What we're looking for : * * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships at all levels. * A self-motivated, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and use your initiative. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * A calm, resilient and adaptable mindset, with a positive can-do attitude. * Experience coordinating administrative or people-related activities. * Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and compliance. * Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to work with data and spot trends. * CIPD qualification, or working towards one, would be desirable but is not essential. * A flexible approach and willingness to travel across the Northwest, Cheshire and North Wales as required. *About JW Lees : Proudly family owned and nearly 200 years old, JW Lees are the original modern, traditional brewer.
