Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer ?? Location: Louth ?? Salary: £45,000 per annum (£21.63 per hour) ?? Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential of temp to perm ? Shifts: Rotating Days & Afternoons Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Louth for a skilled engineer to join their engineering team on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement activities. The Role Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. * Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults. * Working closely with production to minimise downtime. * Recording maintenance work using the maintenance management system. * Conducting root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns. * Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures. * Supporting engineering projects and managing contractors where required. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Job description.docx What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: * Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing. * Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. * Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics. * Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management systems. * Mitsubishi PLC and steam generation experience would be advantageous. * A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND or equivalent). * 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
