This exciting role will sit in our award-winning Communications team who have a proud track record of delivering high-impact, creative, sales-driving campaigns to help bring our books to the widest possible audience. What youll be doing Were looking for a highly creative and consumer focused Marketing Manager to join our award-winning team. Youll lead on your own marketing campaigns, working across the wide variety of Headlines imprints, as well as supporting senior members of the team on some of the biggest brands and launches in the market. Youll play a key role in every step of a books journey, from acquisition to publication and beyond – devising creative, effective and eye-catching marketing campaigns that bring our books to life, engage consumers and drive sales. You’ll be responsible for driving our ebook marketing strategy in both the UK & US, so digital marketing skills are key. Youll be collaborating widely with retailers and influencers, planning and implementing paid and organic digital activity, working with partners and third party stakeholders, maintaining excellent relationships with authors and agents, and reporting on campaign performance throughout. Youll also work closely and collaboratively with wider departments, particularly Publicity, Sales and Editorial, to ensure each publication is perfectly positioned in the market and effectively reaching our target audiences. Who we are looking for Our ideal candidate will bring initiative, creativity and passion to their work, and have experience planning and executing standout marketing campaigns. A clear understanding of audience and the wider market is essential, as is a passion and excitement for Headlines books. They will have a meticulous eye for detail, experience working with and managing budgets, be highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and timelines. They will be adept at creating social media content to engage our target audiences, have an excellent eye for design and be able to write enticing copy. They will be good at prioritising and have a willingness to learn and try new things. Theyll also be able to demonstrate first-class communication skills and thrive working and collaborating as part of a team.
