Job description
Downey Osborne is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services firm to recruit a Senior Accounting & Outsourcing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountancy professional to play a key role in growing the firms presence across Belfast and Northern Ireland. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, provide technical leadership and support the continued development of the Accounting & Outsourcing team. Benefits Flexible and hybrid working Generous annual leave entitlement Enhanced pension contributions Enhanced parental leave Comprehensive wellbeing support Ongoing training and professional development Clear career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment About You ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified Experienced within accountancy practice, accounting services or outsourcing Strong experience managing and developing client relationships Commercially minded, with an interest in business development Confident managing complex accounting and technical matters An effective leader with experience supporting and developing others Strong knowledge of the Belfast and wider Northern Ireland business market Always Build strong and trusted relationships with clients Deliver a high standard of client service Identify opportunities to support client growth Lead and develop members of the wider team Often Manage a diverse portfolio of clients Support business development and new client activity Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters Collaborate with colleagues across Northern Ireland and the wider UK business Occasionally Support the delivery of new client projects Contribute to wider business initiatives Attend networking and client development events Never Be expected to wear a suit just because you work in accountancy Be asked to explain why penguins do not have knees.
