Job summaryAn opportunity has arisen for a 6 month fixed term/secondment position to join the North Kerrier Community Rehab Team working as EITHER a specialist Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
The post is for 37.5 hours per week for 6 months but we will consider applicants who can work any hours up to this. The service currently operates Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays).
The community team treat at a wide range of conditions including stroke, Parkinsons, orthopaedics, amputees and frailty. You will work closely with Team Leads, clinical Band 7 physiotherapists, community occupational therapy colleagues and support workers.
You will be seeing patients in their own homes, care homes and in our gym/ clinic space as outpatients. We cover North Kerrier which is Redruth and Camborne area.

Main duties of the job- To provide a high standard physiotherapy/occupational therapy service, performingadvanced assessments of patients including those with highlycomplex presentations, and from this formulating a diagnosis andtreatment plan.
- To provide leadership for support staff and junior staff throughsupervision, training and appraisal.
- To participate in the planning and development of Physiotherapy Services within each team.
- To work in a variety of settings predominantly community, but also supporting inpatients when required
