Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Mathematics curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inquiry-based classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning.
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development, and the broader life of the school.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching qualification/license with experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level; IB Diploma Programme experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the IB Mathematics curriculum and assessment practices, with the ability to deliver inquiry-based and differentiated instruction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
