Job description
Wellbeing Coordinator Lead We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team at Moorhouse Care Home. Starting from £13.50 Moorhouse Care Home Located in the picturesque heart of Hindhead, Surrey, Moorhouse Care Home is a charming country house that provides top-quality dementia and residential care to up to 36 elderly men and women. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected. About Ashberry Healthcare: We are a privately owned and operated care home group with eight homes across England and Wales, providing residential and nursing services. We prioritise the well-being of residents and their families above all else. We are proud of our core values- loyalty, integrity and compassion, which guide every facet of our operations, deeply ingrained in the fabric of each of our homes. The Role We are unable to support overseas applicants. You will be responsible for: Activity Planning and Execution: * Create a comprehensiveCalendar of Events, including both group and one-to-one activities. * Arrange entertainment and ensure activities remain within the monthly budget. * Organise seasonal events and outings that bring joy and variety to the residents lives. Resident Engagement: * Regularly liaise with the Home Manager to tailor activities based on individual residents abilities and preferences. * Build meaningful relationships with residents to better understand their interests and needs. Administrative Duties: * Maintain proper documentation for activities and budgets. * Communicate effectively with families, residents, and the care team. Flexible Schedule: * Ensure residents have continuous access to enriching activities. About You What matters most is your genuine care, enthusiasm, and ability to bring positive energy to our residents lives. Our ideal candidate must: * Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. * Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff. * Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
