This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role in supporting the administration and operation of courts and tribunals.
As an Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support across a busy court environment. The role involves preparing court and tribunal papers, producing legal documentation, maintaining accurate records, processing casework, and supporting hearings and court users. You will also be responsible for handling face-to-face, written and telephone enquiries, ensuring all customers receive a professional, courteous and efficient service.
Working closely with colleagues, judiciary members and external stakeholders, you will assist with scheduling hearings, managing court files, serving documentation, collecting fines and fees, and ensuring all information is accurately recorded and processed. You will be expected to work to performance and accuracy targets while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with established procedures.
The successful candidate will be confident using computer systems, have excellent organisational skills and possess strong attention to detail. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with a wide range of people, and working both independently and as part of a team. Previous administrative experience is desirable, particularly within a public sector, legal or customer service environment, although full on-the-job training will be provided.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient delivery of justice while developing valuable administrative and operational experience within a respected government organisation.
