District Inspector in the Office of Public Works (Dublin)
The Office of Public Works (OPW) is a key service provider to the Government managing the Government’s estate portfolio, maintaining and presenting Ireland’s built heritage and managing Ireland’s flood risk.
Some of the most recognisable properties in the country are held by the OPW, having one of the largest and most diverse property portfolios, ranging from important buildings such as Dublin Castle to Garda stations and Government offices. Property Maintenance Services is responsible for the maintenance and restoration of OPW property.
The OPW is now recruiting for suitably qualified and committed individuals to take up the role of District Inspectors in its Property Maintenance Services unit in Dublin.
Reporting to their line manager, District Inspectors will oversee work programmes including arranging and supervising maintenance and small capital works contracts and monitoring quality of work undertaken by external contractors.
