You'll be joining a service for adult men aged 18+ who may have a forensic background and face enduring mental health challenges such as personality disorders, substance misuse issues, and challenging behaviours. What you will do * Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team, encouraging service users to engage actively in their care pathways. * Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively. * Maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's rehabilitation and progress. * Efficiently manage and support junior staff, fostering a culture of development and teamwork. * Support clinical team working, providing direct interventions and delivering engaging staff training programmes. To be successful in this role, you will need * To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist. * At least 3 years post-qualifying experience. * Experience in assessing individuals using various psychometrics and risk assessment tools. * The ability to work therapeutically, engaging individuals in developing insight and coping skills to manage their complex needs. * Experience in supervising and managing junior staff members. * A full and clean UK driving licence.
