\n Every child deserves exceptional care at home, and as a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in making that happen across Somerset and Worcestershire. This is an opportunity to lead high-quality complex care services, influence clinical standards, and support children and their families to achieve the very best outcomes. Whether you're an experienced Paediatric Nurse, Complex Care Nurse, or Clinical Nurse Manager, this role offers the chance to step into a rewarding leadership position where your expertise will have a genuine impact.\n

\n As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you'll take ownership of a diverse clinical caseload, working autonomously while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. You'll help shape clinical excellence, mentor healthcare professionals, and drive continuous quality improvement, all within a provider committed to delivering outstanding community-based care.\n

Package & Benefits\n
\n • Salary of £48,000 to £50,000 per annum.\n
\n • Hybrid working with flexible Monday to Friday hours.\n
\n • Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile for regional travel.\n

\n You'll be joining a specialist provider of complex community care, delivering nurse-led, person-centred support to children and young people with a wide range of complex clinical needs. The organisation is recognised for its commitment to clinical excellence, high-quality outcomes, and empowering its teams to deliver exceptional care where it matters most.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\n • Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments.\n
\n • As the Paediatric Clinical Lead, provide clinical leadership through supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for Registered Nurses and care teams.\n
\n • Drive clinical governance by completing medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.\n
\n • Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals while delivering specialist clinical training and providing emergency clinical support when required.\n
\n
About You\n
\n • Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration and experience suitable for a Paediatric Clinical Lead role.\n
\n • Minimum two years' experience managing complex care packages, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries.\n
\n • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Somerset and Worcestershire.\n
\n
