Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start Nursery School, Southwark, London £450-£550 per week (paid weekly) 08:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday Inspire Young Minds in a Nurturing Early Years Setting Nursery School is looking for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at a crucial stage in their development within a warm and inclusive environment. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support children with SEN needs, including ASD, MLD, and related needs * Level 2 or 3 in childcare, (desirable) * Work 1:1 or with small groups in a nursery setting * Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment * Support learning through play-based activities * Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication skills * Work closely with staff and families to support each child’s development What We’re Looking For * Experience working with SEN, particularly ASD and/or MLD * A strong understanding of early years development and play-based learning * A patient, caring, and nurturing approach * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * A genuine passion for helping young children thrive What We Offer * Competitive weekly pay (£450-£550) * A supportive and welcoming early years team * A positive, child-centred working environment * The opportunity to make a real impact at an important stage of learning Career Teachers is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to providing an inclusive and professional service for all.
