Role Overview

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Senior PMO to support the Business Change & Transformation function of a leading Wealth Management organisation. Working within the Transformation Management Office, the successful candidate will support oversight of the wider change portfolio, with responsibility for portfolio reporting, data quality, governance adherence, risk monitoring and executive-level management information. This is a highly analytical role requiring exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work across complex project and portfolio data, including financials, OKRs, benefits, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and overall project health. You will work closely with Programme and Project Managers, Change Leads, Finance, Risk, Technology and senior leadership to establish a trusted view of portfolio performance and translate complex information into clear, accurate and actionable executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the collection, validation and ongoing maintenance of project and portfolio-level data.

Establish clear data standards, validation rules, ownership responsibilities and reporting controls.

Ensure portfolio information is complete, accurate and consistently maintained within designated project management tools.

Review data covering project health, financials, OKRs, benefits, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.

Identify inconsistencies, gaps and deviations from agreed standards and work with data owners to resolve them.

Establish continuous data-quality monitoring and control processes.

Create a single, trusted and authoritative source of portfolio information.

Produce accurate and high-quality executive reporting across the Wealth Management change portfolio.

Develop portfolio reporting covering delivery health, spend, risks, dependencies, milestones, OKRs and benefits realisation.

Translate complex and disparate data into concise, decision-oriented management information.

Produce executive packs, dashboards, portfolio summaries and senior leadership updates.

Identify emerging risks, negative trends and leading indicators of portfolio stress.

Highlight material blockers, interdependencies and mitigation opportunities requiring senior attention.

Ensure reporting clearly communicates the key messages, decisions and actions required.

Use advanced Excel and analytical tools to interrogate complex datasets and generate meaningful insights.

Develop dashboards and visualisations suitable for executive stakeholders.

Champion effective use of portfolio and project management tools, including Planview.

Support adoption and data completeness across Planview, Jira, Confluence and related systems.

Identify opportunities to automate reporting, data validation and portfolio monitoring activities.

Explore the use of AI and modern analytics tools to reduce manual effort and improve reporting reliability.

Continuously assess and improve portfolio reporting processes, tools and data structures.

Support governance across the Wealth Management change portfolio.

Coordinate the preparation and delivery of key decision-making forums, including meeting packs, agendas, minutes and actions.

Support forums such as Decision Forums and Investment Review Boards.

Monitor adherence to project governance processes, protocols and enterprise standards.

Conduct quality assurance reviews of mandatory project documentation and artefacts.

Support projects in progressing through governance gates across the project lifecycle.

Monitor project performance against agreed milestones, financial metrics, OKRs and benefits.

Track remediation actions and escalate material concerns to TMO leadership.

Review lessons learned to identify portfolio-wide themes and improvement opportunities.

Monitor the overall health of the Wealth Management change portfolio.

Review delivery risks, issues, dependencies and project status to identify areas requiring intervention.

Promote strong risk management and escalation practices across the portfolio.

Analyse data to identify recurring delivery concerns and emerging risk themes.

Support Change Leads and Project Managers in improving the quality of project-level risk information.

Provide timely escalation of material issues to Transformation Management Office leadership.

Build strong working relationships across the Transformation Management Office, PMO support team and Business Change & Transformation function.

Work confidently with senior leaders, Change Leads, Programme Managers and Project Managers.

Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Digital, Finance and Risk.

Clarify and challenge project submissions where information is incomplete, inaccurate or inconsistent.

Coordinate with teams responsible for senior executive meetings to ensure materials are delivered to the required standard and deadline.

Provide guidance, coaching and support on portfolio reporting, governance and data-quality expectations.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working within a PMO, Transformation Management Office, Portfolio Management Office or similar change function.

Strong understanding of project and portfolio monitoring, reporting and quality assurance.

Experience producing high-quality executive-level reporting and management information.

Strong data-driven mindset with experience defining data standards, validation processes and control frameworks.

Exceptional numerical literacy and forensic attention to detail.

Experience working with complex project and portfolio datasets.

Strong understanding of project health, financial reporting, benefits, OKRs, milestones, risks and dependencies.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, data modelling and analytical reporting.

Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear and impactful executive content.

Experience working with project and portfolio management tools.

Ability to interpret complex information and communicate clear conclusions and recommendations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Confidence challenging stakeholders and driving improvements in data quality and reporting.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience
