Bath Cats and Dogs Home (RSPCA Bath & District Branch) are a well-established animal welfare charity dedicated to transforming the lives of cats and dogs most in need. Through rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming, as well as preventative community support for pet owners, the charity plays a vital role across the region.
They are now seeking to appoint a Chair of Trustees to lead the Board and support the organisation through an exciting period of development. The Chair will act as the key link between Trustees and the executive team, providing leadership, oversight and strategic direction.
The Chair will play a central role in shaping long-term strategy, ensuring delivery against business plans and financial oversight, and maintaining strong governance practices. You will foster a positive and inclusive Board culture, encouraging collaboration and constructive challenge, while ensuring compliance with Charity Commission requirements and the organisation’s governing framework.
