Motion Designer (Broadcast / premium content for sport, fashion and fmcg brands) Reports to: Head of Post-Production About the Role Our agency partner is an award-winning independent creative agency with over 15 years of experience delivering standout work across sport, FMCG, tourism and fashion. Theyre passionate about creating bold, engaging campaigns and are looking for a talented Motion Designer to join their growing creative team. This is a hands-on role for a motion creative who enjoys bringing ideas to life through animation, movement and visual storytelling. Working across a diverse portfolio of brands, youll be involved in the full motion design process, from initial concepts and storyboarding through to animation and final delivery. Working closely with the Head of Post-Production, youll combine technical expertise with creative thinking to produce engaging motion graphics and content that capture attention and deliver real impact across multiple platforms. IMPORTANT: This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. Youll be managing multiple projects, working to tight deadlines and collaborating across a busy creative team. If you like it calm and predictable, this probably isnt the role for you. * Create engaging motion graphics and animation across branding, campaigns and multi-channel content. * Take projects from concept and storyboarding through to final animation and delivery. * Present and confidently justify creative decisions internally and, when required, to clients. * Deliver work that is visually compelling, technically polished and produced to the highest standards. * Confidently manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines. * Understand commercial objectives and ensure creative decisions are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget. * Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining exceptional creative quality. * Work closely with the Head of Post-Production and the wider creative team. * Collaborate with designers, creatives and production teams to deliver outstanding motion-led content. * Actively contribute to creative discussions, bringing fresh ideas and helping push the agencys creative output forward. What Were Looking For * Significant professional experience within a creative, brand or marketing agency. * Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects. * Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and basic video editing. * A portfolio demonstrating high-quality motion graphics, animation and multi-channel creative work. * Strong understanding of animation principles, graphic design, creative direction and visual storytelling. * Organised, proactive and motivated to continually learn and develop your skills. * Experience working closely with creative teams to bring ideas to life. * Desirable: Experience as a 3D Generalist using Cinema 4D, along with relevant plugins and render engines such as Redshift or Octane. * You’re passionate about motion design and visual storytelling. * You enjoy taking ideas from concept through to beautifully crafted animation. * You have a brilliant eye for detail and always strive for exceptional creative quality. * You’re adaptable, collaborative and thrive when working as part of a busy creative team. * You’re curious, proactive and always looking to explore new techniques, tools and creative trends.
