The company’s materials have best in class properties including: ultra-high toughness, fire resistance, high thermal conductivity, and being derived from sustainable ingredients.
Further, the company has developed best-in-class drone systems that are based on proprietary advanced composite airframes.
In addition to the success in the drone market, the company has developed adhesives for the next generation of electric vehicles, and potting compounds for satellites and spacecraft.
The company retains close links with Imperial College London and Queen Mary University for the research, development and advancement of composite materials.
Role Summary
As FAC Technology’s growth accelerates, it is seeking a skilled Composites & Resins Scientist to facilitate the technical development of advanced materials, including resins, adhesives and potting compounds. You will work across all the range of product offerings available at the company, as well as pursuing speculative development opportunities for prospective advanced materials technologies.
This is a heavily practical scientific role, with comprehensive laboratory skills and experience being essential in order to perform the technical development as well as use and maintain the various pieces of processing and measurement equipment available on site.
