We offer a British educational curriculum with an international perspective that begins in Nursery and leads up to IGCSE examinations in Year 11, and culminates with the International Baccalaureate Diploma after completing Year 13. Psychology is a popular and well-established subject at St Andrews and we are looking for an inspiring teacher to join the team. Class sizes are small and the students are motivated and enthusiastic, enjoying a lively approach to the subject through a wide range of teaching and learning techniques

Inspiring Learning and Development:
As a Psychology teacher at St Andrews, you will nurture the academic and personal growth of your class, adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs, abilities, and interests of each student. Staying informed on current educational practices, you'll bring fresh approaches to our curriculum and provide regular, meaningful feedback to parents. Collaborative planning is central to our approach, and you'll work closely with colleagues and Heads of Subject to design cohesive learning experiences for students.
Psychology is offered to students following Key Stage 5, where all students following the IB Diploma Programme must study at least one Humanities subject, with IB Psychology being a very popular choice. We also offer the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) with Level 3 International BTEC's.
We welcome applications from teachers new to the profession for whom we offer DfE, ECF-based training for Early career teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers. Previous experience teaching either IB or A Level Economics or Business Management would be advantageous.
