Social Media & Content Executive

We are seeking a Social Media & Content Executive to own Annoushkas social presence and lead the creation of photography, video and digital content, primarily for social channels. This is a hands-on role: the successful candidate will shoot, edit and post-produce content themselves, as well as plan and manage our channels day to day. Reporting to the Marketing & Ecommerce Director, this role will be responsible for building a consistent, high-quality visual identity for Annoushka across Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn, while staying close to social trends, formats and emerging tools including AI image creation. The ideal candidate is social native, confident behind a camera, skilled in post-production, and has a genuine passion for luxury, jewellery and visual storytelling. What You’ll Be Doing: Content Creation & Production * Shoot and edit photography and video content for social. * Own end-to-end post-production, including video editing. * Co-ordinate and manage on-location and studio shoots. * Support the production of Annoushkas podcast. * Ensure a consistent visual language across social channels in line with brand guidelines. * Explore and apply AI image generation and editing tools to supplement content production where appropriate. * Manage the relationship with our AI artists, briefing work and reviewing output to ensure it meets brand and quality standards. Social Media Strategy & Management * Own day-to-day management of our social media platforms. * Develop platform-specific content strategies that reflect each channels audience and format. * Monitor trends, formats and platform updates to keep Annoushkas social presence current and competitive. * Grow an engaged following across channels through organic content and community management. Campaign & Product Launch Support * Plan and produce content supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns and brand moments. * Partner with the Ecommerce and Marketing team to align social content with the wider marketing and trading calendar. Reporting & Insights * Track and report on social performance, including reach, engagement, follower growth and content performance, using insights to refine content strategy. * Monitor competitor and industry social activity to identify opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with the Ecommerce Executive to ensure product imagery and content align across web and social. * Support the wider marketing team with content for email, paid social and other channels. * Brief and manage freelance photographers, videographers or agencies when required. We are looking for: Experience * 4+ years experience in a social media, content or content creation role, ideally within fashion, jewellery, beauty or luxury retail. * Proven track record of shooting and editing photography and video for social and digital channels. * Experience of managing brand social accounts, particularly Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Technical skills: * Confident using a camera, both stills and video, and comfortable directing shoots. * Skilled in post-production software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, or equivalent. * Working knowledge of AI image creation and editing tools, such as Midjourney or Adobe Firefly, and where they can responsibly support content production. * Strong understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practice across Reels, Stories, Pins and LinkedIn. * Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools. Personal Attributes * Strong visual eye and instinct for brand-appropriate content. * Creative and proactive, with a genuine interest in social trends and culture. * Highly organised, able to manage multiple shoots and deadlines concurrently. * Collaborative, working well across teams including Ecommerce, Marketing and Product Development. * Comfortable being hands-on, from shoot set-up through to final edit and publish.
