Job description
CNC Miller (Setter / Operator) £16.00 per hour + Day Shift + Early Finish Friday + Overtime Halifax, West Yorkshire Are you a CNC Miller with experience setting and operating vertical CNC milling machines, looking for a permanent days-based role offering optional overtime and an early finish every Friday? On offer is the opportunity to join an established precision engineering business manufacturing high-quality machined components. You will work as part of a production team within a hands-on machining environment. In this role, you will set and operate CNC vertical milling machines, load fixtures and vices, prepare and adjust cutting tools, and upload and verify existing CNC programs. You will also set tool offsets, make minor program adjustments where required and carry out in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers and gauges. This role would suit an experienced CNC Milling Setter and Operator who can interpret engineering drawings.
