Family Associate Solicitor (3–5 PQE) – Buckinghamshire – Up to £75,000 + Benefits

A highly regarded full-service regional law firm with a strong Thames Valley presence is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor / Associate in Buckinghamshire to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice, advising a high-quality client base on complex and sensitive matters.
You will work closely with a highly experienced Family Partner as part of a close-knit team, receiving hands-on mentoring and structured training across all key areas of family law. You will gain exposure to HNW individuals, entrepreneurs and private clients, with genuine scope for progression in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role:
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters with supervision
Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children work
Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value and HNW cases
Drafting court documents, applications and client correspondence
Representing clients at hearings and liaising with counsel where required
Building strong and lasting client relationships
Supporting business development and networking initiatives
Working collaboratively within a well-established multi-office team
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with up to 5 years PQE in family law
Experience handling privately funded family matters
Strong technical knowledge of divorce and financial remedy work
Confident advocate or keen to develop advocacy experience
Excellent communication and client care skills
Commercially aware with a professional and empathetic approach
Ambitious with a desire to progress within a growing team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
