The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take the lead in a children’s residential home supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a pivotal leadership appointment with full responsibility for the service, offering the chance to raise standards, develop a strong team culture, and create meaningful, lasting outcomes for young people.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
Lead, coach and motivate a committed care team
Build a safe, stable and supportive environment for young people
Promote a culture focused on accountability, consistency and progress
Compliance & Quality
Oversee safeguarding procedures, risk management and incident reporting
Maintain robust care plans, assessments and all key documentation
Lead on inspections and drive continuous service improvement
Leadership & Operations
Conduct supervisions, appraisals and staff development reviews
Manage budgets, occupancy levels and overall operational performance
Work closely with senior leaders to support growth and strategic plans
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a strong ambassador for the home and uphold its reputation
Ensure clear and professional communication with families and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection requirements
Experience xwwtmva supporting young people with SEMH and complex needs
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or working towards it
A confident leader with a track record of improving standards and outcomes
