Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the clients UK Sustainability Strategy and associated implementation roadmap.
  • Coordinate sustainability and social value initiatives across multiple business functions ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop high-quality sustainability communications presentations reports briefing packs and awareness materials.
  • Plan organise and facilitate sustainability meetings workshops and engagement events.
  • Maintain sustainability action trackers governance documentation and project status reports.
  • Coordinate Sustainability Networks ambassador programmes and employee engagement communities.
  • Support the planning and delivery of Social Value programmes employee volunteering initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans ensuring effective collaboration between operational teams and central sustainability functions.
  • Monitor project progress identify potential risks or blockers and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain sustainability documentation knowledge repositories and document management systems.
  • Support the development and deployment of sustainability awareness campaigns and training programmes.
  • Produce meeting minutes action logs and governance reporting to support programme delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sustainability processes communication and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Support compliance with sustainability objectives and contribute to the successful delivery of corporate ESG commitments.

Qualifications :

  • Degree qualified in Sustainability Environmental Management Engineering Business Management or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working within Sustainability ESG Environmental Management Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Social Value programmes.
  • Experience coordinating projects or working within Project Management or PMO environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing reports presentations and communication materials.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Experience managing documentation reporting and project governance activities.
