Van Driver & Installation Operative (Adjustable Beds) Permanent | Chalgrove, Oxford | Salary: £36,738 pa | Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 We are recruiting a Van Driver & Installation Operative for a company specialising in adjustable bed sleep systems, working from their depot based in the Chalgrove area. This is a full-time, customer-facing role involving the delivery and installation of specialist adjustable beds in customers' homes across the South, South West and Midlands. You will be working in a two-man team and full training will be provided. Occasional overnight trips may be required depending on routes and customer schedules (Possibly twice a month). A satisfactory DBS check will be required. Candidates must also be comfortable driving into London. Key responsibilities: * * Safely drive a company van and complete home deliveries across the region, including London. * Deliver adjustable beds into customer properties (including upstairs where required). * Assemble, install and demonstrate adjustable bed operation on site. * Maintain excellent customer service, polite, professional, punctual and tidy. * Carry out daily vehicle checks, report defects, and complete proof of delivery via paperwork/handheld device. * Follow safe manual handling procedures at all times.
