About the role

As an Assistant Manager specialising in Digital Health Technology Adoption and Change, you will help healthcare organisations maximise the value of their digital investments by ensuring new technologies are not only implemented, but fully adopted, embedded and optimised across frontline services.

Working within KPMG's Cyber & Digital Health team, you will support NHS organisations and wider health and care providers to deliver sustainable behavioural, operational and organisational change, helping realise measurable improvements in patient outcomes, workforce productivity and service performance.

You will combine expertise in digital health technologies with practical change management, adoption and engagement approaches to ensure digital transformation translates into meaningful and lasting benefits.

Why join KPMG?

KPMG is recognised as a leading advisor in healthcare transformation, supporting healthcare organisations to maximise value from digital investment and modernise the delivery of care through technology-enabled change.

Our Cyber & Digital Health team works across some of the largest and most complex healthcare transformation programmes in the UK, helping NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems, national healthcare organisations and independent providers navigate digital transformation, technology adoption and service improvement.

As part of our Technology & Data practice, you will collaborate with specialists across Digital Health, Cyber Strategy & Transformation, Data & Analytics, AI and Enterprise Solutions. This provides the opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes involving Electronic Patient Records (EPRs), Ambient Voice Technology (AVT), Virtual Care, Remote Monitoring, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics.

You'll join an ambitious, inclusive and collaborative team with excellent opportunities for professional development, exposure to senior healthcare leaders and the chance to shape the future of healthcare through digital innovation.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will:

  • Lead adoption and optimisation workstreams across digital health transformation programmes.

Assess utilisation, adoption and optimisation opportunities across EPR and digital health technology estates.

Support healthcare organisations in maximising value from digital investments.

Design and deliver change management, communications, engagement, training and adoption strategies.

Develop approaches that drive sustained user adoption and behavioural change across frontline teams.

Create frameworks to measure user adoption, productivity improvement, performance and benefits realisation.

Support post-go-live optimisation and continuous improvement programmes.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement, adoption workshops and change impact assessments with clinical, operational, digital and frontline teams.

Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and digital technologies to improve workforce productivity and service delivery.

Support proposition development, thought leadership and business development activities.

Coach and support Analysts while contributing to capability development within the wider team.

The person-

We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping healthcare organisations realise the full value of technology-enabled change.

You will be comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders, from frontline clinicians and operational teams through to senior digital and executive leaders. You will be able to navigate complex change environments, build consensus across stakeholder groups and create practical solutions that drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

You will bring strong consulting, engagement and problem-solving skills, along with the confidence to lead workstreams and manage stakeholder relationships across large-scale transformation programmes.

Skills we would love to see

  • 3+ years' experience supporting organisational change, digital adoption or technology-enabled transformation programmes within healthcare or another complex operational environment.

Knowledge of technology adoption, change management, benefits realisation and optimisation methodologies.

Experience supporting EPR implementation, optimisation or value realisation initiatives.

Experience working with clinical and operational workflows within NHS Trusts or wider health and care organisations.

Understanding of NHS operating environments, provider transformation challenges and barriers to frontline adoption.

Knowledge of healthcare technologies including EPRs, Ambient Voice Technology (AVT), Virtual Care, patient engagement platforms and AI-enabled solutions.

Experience gained within a healthcare provider, healthcare technology vendor, consultancy or professional services environment.

Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and organisational change capability.

Strong PowerPoint storytelling, communication and workshop design skills.

Strong Excel skills, including benefits tracking, performance reporting and data analysis.

Experience using GenAI and agentic AI tools to improve transformation delivery and business outcomes.

Excellent relationship management, communication and facilitation skills.

Ability to translate complex transformation challenges into practical actions and measurable outcomes.

Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
