Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Liverpool that is looking to appoint a Graduate Cover Supervisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a future career in education and wants to gain hands-on experience within a secondary school setting. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual who can support students' learning and maintain a positive classroom environment during teacher absences.

No formal teaching qualification is required, making this role an ideal stepping stone into teaching, educational psychology, youth work or other education-based careers.

What you'll be doing:

• 
  
• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absence.

Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities.

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.

Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school.

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

An interest in pursuing a career in education.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Confidence managing groups of young people.

The ability to remain calm, professional and adaptable.

Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).

Health & Social Care

Or any related degree!
