People Business Partner - Recruitment, Employee Relations & Organisational Change Salary: £35,514 per annum Hours: Full Time, Permanent Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme Were expanding our People & Performance team and are recruiting two new People Business Partners, each with their own area of specialist expertise. This role will focus on Recruitment, Employee Relations & Organisational Change, working alongside a second People Business Partner to provide a proactive, high-quality People service across the College. About the role As a trusted People Business Partner, youll work closely with managers across curriculum and professional services, providing expert advice, coaching and constructive challenge on a wide range of people matters. Youll support managers to effectively manage employee relations and organisational issues, ensuring decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with employment legislation and College policies. Youll use workforce insight and data to identify trends, recommend improvements and support the delivery of People & Performance priorities. Alongside your business partnering responsibilities, youll act as the Colleges subject matter expert for Recruitment, Employee Relations & Organisational Change, providing specialist advice, guidance and support across these areas. Youll contribute to the effective delivery of recruitment processes, workforce planning activity, organisational change and complex employee relations casework. Youll work closely with managers to improve recruitment practice, support effective consultation and change processes, manage employee relations matters fairly and consistently, and build management confidence through practical guidance, coaching and training. This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to influence practice, support continuous improvement and make a meaningful difference to colleagues across the College. About you Youll be an experienced HR professional with a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above), strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience of advising and coaching managers on complex people matters. Youll be confident managing sensitive situations, building trusted relationships and providing pragmatic advice that balances employee experience, organisational needs and legal requirements. Youll have the ability to use data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. Experience of recruitment, employee relations, organisational change or workforce planning would be advantageous. Above all, were looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and passionate about supporting people and organisational success.
