Job Description
Job Title: Secondary English Teacher - IB (MYP/DP) - Maternity Cover
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Secondary English Teacher to teach the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP). The candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and fostering critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills in students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per IB MYP/DP curriculum
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with IB guidelines
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback
  • Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills
  • Maintain accurate records and required IB documentation
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school events

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in English or related field
  • IB teaching experience preferred (MYP/DP)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
