As an WEU Communications Intern you’ll step straight into work that helps make self‑care simpler, smarter and more human for millions of people. What Youll Do Key Responsibilities * Create engaging internal communications that keep employees informed, connected, and inspired. * Source and develop stories from across the Western Europe region for publication on internal channels, including newsletters and the intranet. * Support the creation and delivery of content across internal communication platforms. * Assist in planning and coordinating quarterly employee meetings and other engagement events. * Support external communications activities, including drafting materials and helping to share stories externally. * Work with external communications agencies to amplify Opella news, initiatives, and campaigns. * Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries, functions, and cultures to support communications projects. About You Key Requirements * Currently studying towards a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related discipline. * Must remain in full-time education through September 2027. * Excellent written communication and storytelling skills. * Strong interest in communications, media, content creation, and employee engagement. * High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. * Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across different teams and countries. * Proactive, curious, self‑motivated, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment. What Will Help You Stand Out * Experience writing for university publications, blogs, newsletters, or social media channels. * Interest in healthcare, consumer brands, or corporate communications. * Experience organising events, projects, or campaigns. * Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
