Job description
- HGV Class 2 Driver Evening Shift (Immediate Start)Job Specification Join an established, leading independent UK distributor as an HGV Class 2 Driver. You'll be the face of the business, providing a professional frontline service to customers while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods. Key Responsibilities o Transport goods and deliveries safely and efficiently to customer locations. o Complete multi-drop deliveries, including routes into London. o Build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. o Use your knowledge of the local area to ensure on-time deliveries. o Follow all health and safety procedures at all times. o No loading or unloading required driving duties only. Working Hours o Sunday to Friday (Saturday fixed day off) o Evening / Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM 4 : 00 AM o Immediate Start Available o Depot Location : Dagenham Pay Rates (Including Holiday Pay) o Sunday / Bank Holiday Night : £23.00 per hour o Monday to Friday Night Shifts : £20.00 per hour o Guaranteed 8 hours' pay per shift. Requirements o Current and valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence. o Minimum of 2 years holding an HGV licence and 1224 months' commercial Class 2 driving experience in the UK. o Clean UK driving licence. o Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. o Good knowledge of London and the local region. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work well as part of a team. o Own transport to travel to and from the Dagenham depot. o Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices.
