Junior UX / UI Designer

Job Description Were looking for a creative and ambitious Junior UX / UI Designer to join the product team in our thriving vehicle telematics business. The role is based from our telematics head office at Arden Square, Crewe. Whether youre a recent graduate or have already gained some commercial experience, wed love to hear from you if you can demonstrate your design capabilities through a portfolio of UX and UI work. Were looking for individuals with a passion for creating great user experiences and a desire to develop their career within a collaborative product environment. Working alongside Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts and a variety of stakeholders, youll play an important role in designing innovative telematics products used by businesses worldwide. What you will be doing... * Supporting user research, customer interviews, workshops and usability testing * Creating user flows, wireframes and information architecture * Designing interfaces for web and mobile applications; building prototypes in Figma * Contributing to design systems * Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers * Using customer feedback and data to improve experiences * Supporting design reviews and developer handovers What we are looking for... Were keen to hear from people who can demonstrate their design thinking, creativity, and user‑centred approach. This could include university projects, personal projects, internships, freelance work, or commercial experience. Were interested in understanding how you approach problems, develop ideas, and create effective user experiences. * Experience using Figma (or similar design tools) for wireframing, visual design and prototyping * Solid understanding of UX and UI design principles * Knowledge of responsive and mobile‑first design * Awareness of accessibility and usability best practices * Strong visual design skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication and teamwork skills What you can expect from us… Meaningful work This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full product development lifecycle while working on innovative telematics solutions used by businesses globally.
