Job description

Are you ready to make your mark in the world of Formula 1?

Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.

At Formula 1, we are passionate about delivering the world’s greatest sports and entertainment spectacle leaving a positive legacy wherever we race. Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do ever since our first Grand Prix in 1950. Now, more than 75 years on, the sport remains a pioneer, developing technologies that have made a significant impact on society beyond the track.

Everything you see on screen or at an event comes via our passionate and dedicated people. Whether its engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing, or communications there is always a talented team working to maximise the potential of the sport.

Role Overview:

As Senior Creative Producer, you will play a key role in bringing Formula 1 stories to life for millions of fans around the world. Working at the heart of F1’s Digital Video team, you will lead the development and production of compelling feature content, helping to shape the way audiences experience the sport both on and off the track.

In this role, you will own a range of content strands and original series, taking projects from initial concept through to final delivery. Whether producing at a Grand Prix, directing contributors on location, crafting compelling narratives in the edit, or developing innovative content ideas, you will be hands-on throughout the entire creative process and empowered to create content that captivates a global audience.

You will work closely with the Executive Producer while collaborating with Editors, Producers and stakeholders from across Formula 1, including Marketing, Social Media and Communications teams. Together, you will create best-in-class content that celebrates the personalities, stories and moments that make Formula 1 one of the world's most exciting sports.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and experienced producer who combines strong editorial judgement with outstanding production expertise. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about storytelling and digital content, and have the confidence to lead projects from idea to execution while helping to shape the future of Formula 1's video output.

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Producer in the planning, development and creation of Formula 1’s digital video output, with a particular emphasis on creative feature content.

  • Lead the creative development and delivery of original content strands and series, driving ideas from concept to completion.

  • Drive the end-to-end production process, transforming creative ideas into world-class content across every stage of development, production and delivery.

  • Edit features to final broadcast and digital standard using Adobe Premiere.

  • Self-shoot content when required, adapting to a variety of production environments.

  • Travel to Formula 1 race events when required to support on-site production activity.

  • Supervise work undertaken by Editors and Producers, providing creative direction, guidance and production oversight.

  • Oversee final content production, ensuring all content is technically excellent, editorially robust and delivered on time.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including F1’s Marketing team, social media agency and Communications teams across the sport.

  • Stay at the forefront of digital video trends, production techniques and audience behaviours, helping to evolve and elevate Formula 1’s content offering.

  • Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving world of Formula 1, identifying stories, trends and moments that can be transformed into compelling content for fans.
