Leicestershire + 2 days Hybrid Working
Up to £55,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK housebuilder as a Quantity Surveyor within an established and supportive commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager. You'll be responsible for two live developments after settling in, ranging from circa 200+ traditional open market homes,
The Role
- Commercial management of multiple new build housing developments.
Procurement and management of subcontractors.
Preparing tender enquiries and analysing quotations.
Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control.
Managing subcontractor valuations and payments.
Variations, cost/value reconciliations and final accounts.
Commercial management of Section 106 affordable housing and Housing Association disposals.
Working closely with Construction, Technical, Sales and Land teams to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within new-build residential housing - essential and must be a UK developer
Strong commercial and cost management skills.
Experience working on traditional housing developments.
Knowledge of Section 106 affordable housing would be advantageous.
COINS experience is desirable but not essential.
Organised, commercially aware and a collaborative team player.
