Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)

Service Area: Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,600

What you will be doing:

You will be part of the Operations and Maintenance Team, and play a key role in carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance whilst ensuring full compliance and Safe to Operate capability.

• 
  
• Safe and professional mechanical planned and reactive maintenance on steam plant rooms and network.

Installation and replacement of pipework to current PSSR reg’s.

Carry out basic mechanical fault finding and rectification.

Completing all Point of Work Risk Assessments (PoWRA) before any Task is started and all required PPE is worn and in good condition.

What you will bring:

• Experience and knowledge in industrial pipe fitting.

Competent in using threading machine and similar tooling.

• Experience in working with technical specifications and have a good understanding of safe systems of work.

Knowledge and application of Health and Safety best practices
