We are seeking an experienced paediatric speech and language therapist to work with our lovely 4-year-old daughter at our family home in Fulham.
Our daughter has a tracheostomy and is PEG fed. She is a happy, sociable little girl, and we would love to find a therapist who can help her develop her communication — and, where appropriate, her feeding skills — working alongside her dedicated nurse, who is present at all times.
The role
- Assessing and delivering regular one-to-one speech, language and communication therapy
Supporting her communication development, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
Contributing to feeding and swallowing (dysphagia) goals in liaison with her medical team
Setting goals, reviewing progress and sharing simple strategies with her family, nurse and tutor
About you
- HCPC-registered speech and language therapist (RCSLT membership xwwtmva preferred)
Experience with young children with complex medical needs — tracheostomy and dysphagia experience highly desirable
Warm, playful and family-centred in your approach
Enhanced DBS, excellent references and the right to work in the UK
Details: Sessions at our home in Fulham; frequency and schedule to be agreed. Starting September 2026.
