Job summary
Are you passionate about supporting children and families to thrive? Do you want to make a real difference in your local community? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

Join HCRG Care Group as a Healthy Family Practitioner based in Skelmersdale and play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families across Lancashire.

Working as part of the Young People & Healthy Families Service, you'll collaborate closely with Health Visitors, School Nurses, and wider multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. This is a rewarding community-based role where you'll empower families, promote child development, and help improve long-term health outcomes.

This is a part-time fixed-term opportunity working 30 hours per week with a planned start date of September 2026.

What you'll be doing:
In this varied and impactful position, you will:

  • Deliver key elements of the Healthy Child Programme, including developmental reviews (e.g. 1-year and 22.5-year checks)
  • Support children and families with targeted interventions such as behaviour management and infant feeding
