As a Nursing Associate, you'll deliver high standards of holistic, person-centred nursing care, working closely with registered nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team to support patients through every stage of their care.

Main Responsibilities: As a Nursing Associate Band 4 on Longleat ward, you will:
• Provide hands-on, person-centred care and support to an allocated group of patients, from admission through to discharge
• Carry out clinical observations, including blood pressure, glucose levels and temperature, recording these accurately
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Deliver a delegated workload safely and effectively, applying sound clinical reasoning within your scope of practice
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and communicate effectively, including with those who have additional communication needs
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records and feed back to the appropriate registered healthcare professional
• Support the safe administration and optimisation of medicines in line with NMC standards
• Champion the core values of nursing: compassion, competence, communication, courage, care and commitment

Ideal Candidate: Essential
- Registered as a Nursing Associate with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience of working within a clinical setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on current practice
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with patients and colleagues
- An ability to respond calmly and compassionately to people in distress

- Experience of managing patients with complex needs in an inpatient setting
