Commercial Property Lawyer (3+ PQE) – Canterbury | Flexible & Hybrid Working
A well-regarded and long-established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor or experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join its busy and successful team based in Canterbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer seeking high-quality work, strong client exposure, and a supportive environment with genuine flexibility.
The Role
You will handle a broad and interesting caseload of commercial property matters, including:
- Sales and acquisitions of commercial property
- Asset sales and purchases
- Contracts conditional on planning
- Overage and option agreements
- Commercial lending transactions
- Lease work (grants, assignments, and related matters)
- Supporting property development projects
You will manage your own files from instruction through to completion and work with a diverse client base including developers, investors, lenders, occupiers, and high-net-worth individuals.
The Candidate
You will be:
- A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Around 3+ years PQE (guideline, not essential)
- Experienced in managing a varied commercial property caseload
- Confident running transactions independently
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Interested in business development and relationship building
- A collaborative team player
