Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £39,357 with progression to £42,791 per annum
Location: Remote/Hybrid with travel across North West/and West Midlands, Yorkshire and North East of England.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Partner who will play a pivotal role in our evolving learning and organisational development team.

Our Learning and Organisational Development function are looking for an experienced Learning Partner to help shape how we develop our people and support our services. The Learning Partner will take a proactive partnering approach with operational leaders and managers, working closely with services to understand priorities, anticipate development needs and help build capable, confident teams through coaching, practical learning, leadership development and organisational development.

You'll spend time working alongside services and managers, gaining a deep understanding of workforce challenges, identifying opportunities to build capability, and designing learning and development solutions that make a meaningful difference to colleagues, services and the people we support. You'll champion the 70:20:10 learning model, ensuring development is embedded through experience, collaboration and formal learning rather than relying solely on classroom-based training.

Working proactively with Heads of Service and Managers, you'll build trusted relationships, stay connected to operational priorities, support leadership capability, ensure mandatory learning is embedded, learning is effectively embedded, and tailor learning solutions to meet both individual and service needs.

You'll also play a key role in delivering learning through our growing commercial and corporate learning offer, representing MHM with external organisations and building our reputation for high-quality learning and development.

Main responsibilities:
* Proactively partner with services and managers to understand capability needs, identify emerging issues and develop practical learning plans.
* Design and deliver engaging learning experiences.
* Work alongside managers to help them develop their teams using the 70:20:10 learning approach.
* Build leadership confidence through coaching, workshops and development programmes.
* Monitor statutory and mandatory learning compliance and support services to maintain high standards.
* Facilitate team development, organisational change and service improvement initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with People Partners and colleagues across the organisation to deliver strategic learning priorities.
* Evaluate the impact of learning and use insight to continuously improve what we do.

About you

You'll be someone proactive who enjoys working directly with services and managers, building trusted relationships and taking the initiative to understand what teams need to succeed. You're equally comfortable facilitating a workshop, coaching a manager or helping a leadership team solve a workforce challenge. You'll also be confident delivering to external clients, adapting your approach to different audiences and maintaining high professional standards while representing MHM.

You'll bring:
* Experience designing and delivering learning within health, social care, charity or a similar operational environment.
* Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
* Experience supporting workforce development through professional qualifications, apprenticeships or externally funded learning programmes.
* Experience working with managers to identify development needs and create practical learning solutions.
* Knowledge of blended learning approaches and workplace learning.
* Confidence using learning data and compliance information to assess trends, issues and drive improvements.
* The ability to influence, coach and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
* A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
* A flexible approach, with travel (including overnight stays) and the ability to support delivery across different shifts, including evenings when required.
* Experience of organisational development, leadership development, change programmes or the 70:20:10 learning model.
