Job description
Job summary
There are full and part time hours available, starting at 15 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week - fixed term contract for 8 weeks.

The post holder will work as a member of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Team to support the safe delivery of the Flu vaccination & winter wellbeing programme within Harrogate Hospital and the community settings, across the HDFT footprint.

The aim of the role is to encourage the uptake of the flu vaccine across all staff groups, to protect our patients, and ensure our staff remain fit and well during the winter months.

Main duties of the job
  • To support delivery of the commissioned programme as delegated by the lead Occupational Health Advisor.
  • To work as part of the team, assessing, planning and implementing the delivery of the flu vaccination programme, and ensure that the vaccine is offered to all eligible staff.This may be on the Harrogate Hospital site or in community clinic bases
  • To participate in and promote the keeping well in winter campaign, whilst delivering the flu vaccinations

The post holder as a member of the Trust is expected to provide a dynamic and forward thinking contribution to the Flu Immunisation team which ensures the delivery of effective health and wellbeing care to the staff population.
