Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Fulwood. This part-time role involves supporting a Year 4 class for three days per week and would suit an individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide general classroom support and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The role also includes a 30-minute lunch duty each working day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroom.
- Providing general classroom support to the teacher and pupils.
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 as required.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high standards within the classroom.
- Assisting with lunchtime supervision and ensuring pupil wellbeing.
- Helping to create an inclusive, safe and productive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within a primary school setting.
- Is confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.
- Can uphold high expectations of behaviour and classroom standards.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrates a nurturing and positive approach to supporting children.
