Payroll Advisor (12-month FTC)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Payroll Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the end-to-end payroll process.

• Managing payroll changes, including starters, leavers and contractual amendments.

• Processing and checking payroll data to ensure accuracy.

• Advising employees and managers on payroll-related queries.

• Supporting pension administration and statutory payments.

• Working closely with HR colleagues and external providers.

• Producing payroll reports and maintaining accurate records.

• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal controls.

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

✅ Experienced in payroll administration or payroll processing
✅ Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
✅ Confident working with data, systems and spreadsheets
✅ Customer-focused with strong communication skills
✅ Able to manage confidential information professionally
✅ Proactive, adaptable and keen to continuously improve processes

Experience within an HR or shared services environment would be advantageous.
