As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering interventions, leading lessons when required, and helping pupils develop both academically and personally.
The Role
Working alongside teachers and school leaders, you will:
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons
- Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher when required
- Deliver targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those requiring additional support
- Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment
- Assist with assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress
- Contribute to the pastoral, social, and emotional development of pupils
- Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
