Required Skills:
Essential Requirements Experience working within a Homelessness Prevention Housing Options or Housing Advice service. Excellent knowledge of: Housing Act 1996 Part VII Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 Homelessness Prevention Duties Housing Options and Case Management Experience making statutory homelessness decisions. Experience undertaking complex housing needs assessments. Experience managing a caseload independently. Experience working with vulnerable individuals and families. Strong partnership working skills. Working knowledge of the JIGSAW housing management system. Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving skills. Desirable Requirements Local Authority homelessness experience. Experience working with clients with multiple and complex needs. Knowledge of safeguarding and community safety processes. Experience working within a trauma-informed service.
