Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher - Rotherham

Are you a Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Rotherham?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of supportive primary schools throughout Rotherham.

This Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher opportunity offers the chance to teach predominantly within Year 3 and Year 4 classrooms whilst benefiting from the flexibility of supply work. Working as a Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher in Rotherham is a fantastic way to gain experience across a range of local schools.

Position: Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging lessons across Years 3 and 4, supporting pupils as they build confidence and develop key skills across the primary curriculum.

The Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher role in Rotherham is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers looking for flexible teaching opportunities within welcoming primary schools.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across Year 3 and Year 4 Differentiate learning to meet individual needs Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement Assess learning and monitor progress Work collaboratively with school staff Follow safeguarding procedures at all timesCandidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2 Strong classroom management skills Positive and flexible approach Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)What Academics Offer
