Job description

Company Description Paisley on the Web is a community-focused organization created by like-minded people committed to promoting a positive image of Paisley. Guided by the strapline “Positive Paisley,” the group works to encourage local pride, support small businesses, and strengthen the town’s social and economic climate. By helping residents feel more confident and connected, Paisley on the Web aims to increase engagement with local shops and community events. The organization also collaborates with shopkeepers and event organizers to promote fetes, charity functions, and other initiatives before and after they take place. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recruitment Specialist role based in Paisley. The Recruitment Specialist will identify staffing needs, source candidates through local networks and online channels, and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for community projects and partner organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting role descriptions, posting opportunities, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate candidate records. The role also involves building relationships with local businesses and community groups, promoting opportunities in line with the “Positive Paisley” ethos, and supporting basic onboarding and orientation for new participants or staff. The Recruitment Specialist will collaborate closely with internal team members to ensure recruitment activities reflect the organization’s values and contribute to the town’s positive development.
