Due to continued expansion and increased project activity, our client is seeking an experienced Production Operations Supervisor to join their team.

Your new role
As Production Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production and assembly activities, ensuring projects arepleted safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.
Working closely with management, production and engineering teams, you will coordinate labour, materials and workflow to achieve production targets while driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise day-to-day manufacturing and assembly activities.
Coordinate workloads to ensure production schedules and delivery deadlines are met.
Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance.
Support production planning and resource allocation activities.
Manage subcontractors and external suppliers as required.
Review engineering documentation and production requirements before release to manufacture.
Investigate and resolve production issues and non-conformances.
Maintain health, safety and quality standards throughout the facility.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including workplace organisation and efficiency improvements.
Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and skills development.
Produce regular progress and performance reports for senior management.
Support maintenance planning and equipment availability to minimise downtime.

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, assembly, production or fabrication environments.
Strong people management andmunication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
Experience coordinating labour, materials and production schedules.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Full driving licence.
