We work with prestigious clients worldwide, delivering cutting-edge automation and special-purpose machinery. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Machine Wireman to support our engineering team.\n \n \n The Role\n \n \n We are looking for a skilled and experienced Machine Wireman to assist with the electrical wiring and assembly of complex automation and special-purpose machinery. This role involves working from schematic drawings, assembling electrical control panels, and installing machine wiring in line with design specifications.\n \n \n Key Responsibilities\n \n
    \n
  • Machine wiring of bespoke automation equipment from schematic diagrams.
    • \n
  • Control panel wiring and installation of electrical components.
    • \n
  • Working with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
    • \n
  • Interpreting and following electrical schematics and layout drawings.
    • \n
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
    • \n
  • Ensuring all work meets industry standards, health & safety regulations, and European directives (Low Voltage, Machinery, EMC).
    • \n
  • Working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless system integration.
    • \n
  • Adhering to project deadlines and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
    • \n
\n \n Requirements\n \n \n
    \n
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in machine wiring, electrical assembly, or panel wiring.
    • \n
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control panel wiring.
    • \n
  • Experience with PLC wiring, safety systems, and control panels.
    • \n
  • Proficiency in working with single and three-phase electrical systems.
    • \n
  • Relevant electrical qualifications.
    • \n
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • \n
  • Experience with cherry pickers, forklifts, or cranes is beneficial (training provided).
    • \n
